Learn how ending employment affects your foundU profile and how to reactivate it
Employment can end for a variety of reasons, including resigning for a new opportunity, retirement, or other circumstances. Regardless of the reason, ending employment is managed directly with your employer.
If you plan to move on, you’ll need to speak with your manager to discuss the next steps.
This article explains what happens to your profile when it becomes inactive, how your information is handled, and what to expect if your profile is reactivated for future opportunities.
Ending your employment
Once your employment has concluded, your foundU profile will be marked as inactive/ archived. Inactive profiles are clearly identified by a yellow banner visible on all pages.
You can still log in to your profile after it is marked as inactive/ archived. However, since you are no longer actively employed, your access will be limited to:
Payslips – Useful for verifying income or your job history.
Documents sent – Including contracts, letters of offer, or other documents you have signed.
Additionally, you won’t be able to update any details on an inactive/ archived profile. If changes are needed, the profile will just need to be reactivated first.
Reactivate your profile
In certain circumstances, such as returning to a previous role or being rehired after a break, your employer may allow you to reactivate your foundU profile. This is an optional feature they can choose to use.
Once reactivated, your profile will enter an onboarding state and follow the same steps as part of the standard hiring process.
To reactivate your profile:
From either the Payslips or My Documents pages, select the Reactivate now button.
You will then be prompted with a message to confirm the reactivation. Select Continue to confirm.
- Once confirmed, refresh your page; it will return to an onboarding state.
Next steps
Once your profile has been reactivated, it will return to the onboarding state it was in when you first registered with foundU.
The information you previously provided will be automatically filled in, giving you the opportunity to review and update any details that may be out of date or need more information.
When reviewing and updating, please pay special attention to the following:
